Maximize Performance. Minimize Injury

Hello, I’m Kimana NeilStrong of Athletic Performance and Injury Prevention for Martial Arts. My goal is to use the information I have gained from University and advanced certifications to help fellow martial artists, especially kickers, fulfill their athletic potential for martial arts. Becoming great at martial art kicking requires multiple components of sports performance:

1). Plyometrics

2). Flexibility and Mobility

3). Core Fitness

4). Balance and Stability

This pic was taken the same time the muscular pic above was taken. Strength, muscularity, and advanced kicking abilities can be attained simultaneously.

5). Strength

6). Healthy Joints and Muscles

Martial artists who digest the information on this website will be better equipped to improve their physical fitness for martial arts, so that they can become more formidable opponents in sparring, patterns/poomsae/forms, and showcasing basic, intermediate, and advanced martial arts kicks.

You’ll also learn how to minimize the risk of injuries, especially the most common injuries for martial art kickers: hamstring injuries and knee injuries. Other injuries occur for us as well (groin, lower back, and shoulder injuries), and I will teach you about avoiding, and training around, those injuries, too.

Click the button below if you’d like me to personally coach and train you towards the best version of yourself, so you can dominate the martial arts scene; whether that’s karate, taekwondo, muay thai, kickboxing, or something else. You’ll be able to kick, stretch, and jump as well as me; maybe even better!

Online Training for Martial Artists

Online training is a new concept for people who want nutrition, fitness, or athletic performance training and coaching. The section below highlights how online training will benefit you versus training in-person with a trainer.

Benefits of Online Training

1). COST:

Training in-person for martial arts or fitness training costs A LOT more than online training. WHY? This is to cover overhead costs (electric bill, water bill, RENT, etc.)

Online training benefits you because the trainer doesn’t have to pay for the above expenses, so the trainer doesn’t have to charge as much. Common in-person personal training can cost $700 – $1,800/month!

You save hundreds to thousands of dollars when you choose the online route.

2). LOCATION:

You don’t have to worry about not training with the best-in-class because that trainer is located too far away from you

You have access to the best as long as you have an internet connection

3). SCHEDULE:

For in-person training, schedules of the trainer and client normally don’t match ideally; this causes the client to rush from other obligations to their training session, or worse: miss their training sessions because of traffic or other obligations.

That’s not a worry with online training; you do the workouts at a time that is ideal for you. No need to satisfies the trainer’s timeline.

4). NO GYM? NO PROBLEM:

For in-person training, you would have to go to a public location. Some people aren’t comfortable exercising in front of other people, and that’s understandable.

You can train in the comfort of your home, without worrying about judgmental looks. All of this is possible while getting guidance from the best

5). BETTER ACCOUNTABILITY AND SUPPORT:

You’ll receive better follow-ups and check-ins from your coach because they have more time with online training. In-person training can take over a trainer’s day, leaving little time for them to get back to you and take care of you, but that changes when training is done online.

6). SEE YOUR PROGRESS:

I use online training software that allows my clients to see their progress throughout a training cycle. They can actually see by how much percent their lifts improve; how much fat they’ve lost over weeks and months; and much more. Seeing our results allows motivation to stay high even with ambitious goals.

Those were the benefits of online training. Click here if you’d like to know the features of training to know exactly what is involved.
